From the finding of a lack of information on environmental radioactivity and in particular on radon gas and its possible risks in closed environments, the need arose several years ago to inform the population in rigorous ways, through the INFN-RadioLab project. High school students are involved not only in radioactivity measurements but also interviews on the subject RADON, asking some key questions, to a population sample, for a total of tens of thousands interviewees, most of whom aged between 19 and over the 50. Results will be reported on a survey performed in eastern Sicily and comparisons with a similar survey in Italy.
