The LHCb experiment at the Large Hadron Collider has been designed to perform high-precision flavour physics measurements. The measurement of mixing and $CP$ violation with $D^{0}$ mesons provides a unique way to probe non-Standard-Model effects. Using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.0 fb${}^{-1}$, collected by the LHCb experiment from 2011 through 2016, the most precise measurements of the $D^{0}$ mixing parameters are presented. In addition, a search for $CP$ violation is performed, and the results are discussed here.
