We exploited Cosmo-SkyMed InSAR data for detecting some subsidence phenomena resting on railway and road lines in the Lombardia region, northern Italy. Our analysis allowed observing local subsidence of about 5 mm/year affecting railway and road infrasctructures in the proximity of some towns along the region. Such phenomena are mainly due to the large presence of anthropogenic activities together with the geological features characterizing this sector of Italy. Security of infrastructures need continuous monitoring of both railways and roads conditions and the lands on which they rest on and here we demonstrate how remote-sensing data could support such activity
