The existence of extensive air showers correlated in time and orientation is a possible validation of several theoretical mechanisms that can affect the primary cosmic rays along their way before entering the Earth's atmosphere. Since the detection of such rare events requires the use of large area sparse arrays, the EEE experiment can provide a crucial contribution to this kind of research. In this talk the results of a preliminary analysis of the data collected so far by the EEE telescopes in a period of several years will be presented, showing the presence of some interesting events.
