The muon anomaly, $a_{\mu}$, is a low-energy observable which can be both measured and computed to high precision, making it a sensitive test of the Standard Model and a probe for new physics. The previous measurement by the Brookhaven E821 experiment found a 3-standard-deviation discrepancy from the predicted value. The new Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab aims to improve the experimental error by a factor of four in order to clarify the origin of this difference. We present the status of the $\omega_a$ analysis performed on the dataset collected during the Run 1 (2018).
