Quantum physics is counterintuitive. The are many examples of quantum phenomena that do not admit a simple, classical explanation. Think of the wave particle duality, quantum entanglement, Bell's inequality, quantum tunnelling. However, today's paradoxes are tomorrow's paradigm, or maybe tomorrow's technology. Quantum computing, quantum information, quantum technologies are but a few examples of innovative applications that arise out of seemingly paradoxical premises.
