With the discovery of graphene, the 2-dimensional (2D) materials research spread drastically in the research community due to their broad range of electronic properties. Recent studies manifested that more than one thousand materials belong to this group, which includes magnetic materials, too. According to theoretical studies, 2D isotropic materials could not show the magnetic properties but the anisotropic behaviour left this restriction. Among these materials, $CrCl_{3}$ is facing a renewed attention exhibiting weak van der Waals interaction between the layers as well as in-plane ferromagnetic order. Here, we explore the optical properties of $CrCl_{3}$ thin specimen in relationship to the bulk properties.
